How To Understand The Failure of a Business Venture
In the past I have been involved with a few business ventures that were not successful(besides one). Every time it failed and we had to "closed up shop" it always came time for the blaming: It was the products fault It was the website designers fault It was the partners fault It was the customers fault It was the competitions fault It was the Governments fault Basically everyone else was at fault. Until one day when I came across a CD of business guru Randy Gage. On this CD, Randy was telling his life story about every business he was involved in that failed. He said that when ever a business failed he would blame the whole world. Until one day he was thinking about it and it was clear to him: Every time a business failed - there was always someone guilty there at the scene of the 'crime'! and that someone was me. When a business venture fails - its very easy to blame the world. However the moment you understand that sometimes its actually you who is guilty, that every time its you who was found at the scene of the crime - this is when your business will grow. How? Because you will always learn how to improve yourself, how to add more skills and how to create incredible value. You will look back at every failure and ask: "ok, what skills was I missing for my business to succeed? How were my selling skills? What do I know now that I can apply do my business that I didn't know back then?" When a business venture fails my friend, leave the world alone!
