Why Small Business Owners Struggle With Running Marketing Campaigns
Everyday I come in contact with small business owners, entrepreneurs, start-ups etc.. who are brilliant people, they have great products and it seems like they have everything in place. Yet when it comes to the marketing - they are just not capable of moving forward. Let me reveal to you a little secret why so many people struggle with running a marketing campaign: Small business owners struggle with running marketing campaigns because they are not: consistent promoters. So many people who launch a marketing campaign expect to be making significant amounts of money...very fast. Those of us in marketing know that marketing campaigns take time and it takes time for a message to sink in. Especially if you have to educate the market you are targeting. Studies have shown that in email marketing it takes between 7 to 9 follow up emails with a prospect to close the sale. The same thing applies here when it comes to marketing campaign. People need to see your promotions again and again. They see it once and they see it again and some point in time they will hopefully take action. The formula: Promote your message to a large group of people - consistently - over a period of time. All the best, Hillel Porath
