3) Many people have been asking me what I mean by web marketing strategist. Let me explain:

"Web marketing" is referring to the effective ways of driving quality traffic to your website ( proper seo,adwords etc....). Now I mention in the article that in today's marketing campaigns you need both social media and web marketing. I am not coming to put down social media marketing because it does work for many people including myself...however I am looking at the bottom line results for each campaign. I have found that to many people get caught up in the "social media marketing" hype - they get followers, fans on Facebook yada yada but they aint making any money....its fun...but people need to understand that the best results come from a hard core web marketing - keyword research, seo, link building, providing Google with fresh content etc...

Many people that I meet seem to view social media as the "short term home run" ....

You don't want short term home runs!

I tell my clients that you need to focus on what will give you the long term on going steady quality traffic to your website - a proper web marketing campaign.
