Social Media Local Marketing - Always More Effective + Tip

One of the main aspects we struggle with as social media marketers is getting results. It is very hard to estimate or calculate more or less when results can be grenerated from a social media marketing campaign. Often clients start to throw on the pressure after a month.

Many of my clients are companies that are dealing on the global level - in a case like this I always like to intertwine the social media marketing with SEO - with a stronger focus on the SEO aspect and keyword research.

However if you have a client that is focused on a specific local market - this is where social media marketing can kick tuchis. Marketing on the local level allows you to effectivly utilize all of the tools to create a strong awareness within the local market. And the results come much faster.

Let me share with you a little tip on getting clients who focus local:

Go after the private firms.

Private firms are very expensive to manage. This is why for example in the states - many private firms are merging together. Private firms are depended on clients. In most cases it may cost the same to hire someone to do social media marketing then to place three ads in a newspaper.

Currently I'm working with two private firms in Israel - its amazing to see how social media is incredibly effective.
