How To Market Short Term Rentals - Part 1

For over 7 months I have been marketing short term rentals in Jerusalem and I would like to share with you some tips on how to market short term rentals.

1) Focus on social networks for professionals. Sites like LinkedIn, Ecademy etc.. are great sites to focus on. Why? Becuase just like professionals work - they also take vacations. On LinkedIn post in the groups area where you can submit news articles.

2) Whenever you have a specific date opened - post it on the the social networks you are involved in. I have found that posting a specific date when an apt is opened - this generates a better response.

3) Obviously - make sure you are dominating the search engines with your keywords.

4) Submit articles to directories with a title like: "The ten top reasons you should take a vacation in Jerusalem" in the about the author section - have your info. Don't stick it in the article.

5) Create a video about your apartment and submit it to Youtube and other video sites like Metacafe (ranks high in the search engines)

6) Educate and convince people about your area! Explain to them how they can save money by coming to you. In today's economy everyone is looking for those magic words: "Affordable" "Save" "Cheap.. and of course why you are area is the most beautiful place in the world and there is lots to do where the apt is located.
