Marketing Products On B2B Directories - Tips

On the web today exist many B2B websites. These are websites that are basically one big ecommerce site.

Who uses these sites? Mainly companies looking to promote their products to local distributors in what ever targeted markets. In addition importers use these sites as well to seek new products for promotion in their markets.

EC21

Alibaba

TradeIndia

Exporters.sg

iOffer

Now membership on these site is very expensive. But most of them do allow free accounts and you can post up to about 10-15 products.

Why should you want to post products on these sites?

Because the results from posting in these directories show up in Google very fast. (if you use the right keywords :)

This way you are getting targeted traffic from both within the directory and from outside.

Its important to fill out as much information as possible on each product. Upload pictures, prices, shipping info etc..

The more information people will have the easier it will be for them to make a decision.
