On my day to day interaction with many of Israel's leading companies via the IsraelExporter.com website. I am hearing more and more companies saying that SEO "is not like it used to be" and that its much harder to rank today. More than that: many companies are telling me that they have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on SEO companies and social media gurus and in return they have received zero results.

It is for this reason companies are focusing on Internet Lead Generation Campaigns. The marketers of today need to focus on creating campaigns that are completely focused on lead generation.

You must view your marketing on the web today as a race to results. If you spend to much time on SEO and Social media ...you will end up burning your marketing campaign and your money.

When running a lead generation campaign you may feel like your going back in time to the old marketing methods. Because here you will need to pick up the phone and follow up. But hey...it works and its extremely effective.

My personal recommendation is to polish up your closing the sale skills. They will really come in handy when running a lead generation campaign.
