Jerusalem Investment Group September Meeting

When: September 17, 7:30 PM

Join us at the Jerusalem Investment Group's September meeting to learn and discuss how to evaluate stocks. We've had seven previous meetings with a lot of enthusiasm and participation. Meeting participants are encouraged to learn from each other and share what they know.

Please bring suggestions to the group about specific stocks to analyze and we'll go through the work together. Specifically, in learning how to research companies, we'll define and learn how to work with:

* Market capitalization

* Price/Earnings and Earnings yield

* Price/Sales

* Price/Book Value

* Equity Value/Sales and Equity Value/EBITDA

* Return on Equity

* Return on Capital

We'll learn the computation and math but also focus on the bigger picture of analysis: what the formulas represent and how they compare to one another and how they help you size up a company.

Bring your questions, comments, friends, and spouses to begin taking the next step towards creating a sound investment portfolio.
