Is Affiliate Marketing Really Hard?

Lately people have been asking me about affiliate marketing and if it's actually really hard.

My answer to this question is very simple: yes, affiliate marketing is hard work.

Now that doesn't mean that for everyone it's really hard. It's just that some people are actually doing it right and therefore they get results.

"Doing it right" means three basic things:

1- Proper research

2- Proper content + optimization

3- Proper platforms for promotion

I promote many affiliate products - many of the articles are not generating any money. However with two articles I'm actually earning passive income every month. These two articles are focused on very very specific niches where their is almost zero competition and a high demand. Currently another article is beginning to show some 'signs of life'.

All you really need is one good product. This is why affiliate marketing is so cool - because you can promote endless products. You may hit the jackpot on the 20th affiliate article and you may hit the jackpot on the first....you'll never know until you give it a shot and all your best.
