Clean-Tech, Israeli Company - Converting Waste to Energy
This Israeli company has developed a biomass generator that takes the waste from different processes, including olive oil production, wine production, paper making, and even animal waste, and converts it into energy.
The generator is used on-site, so there is no need to transport the waste.
The waste goes in one end, and out of the other end comes energy that is channelled in the form of electricity into the national grid.
(Soon, when you turn on a light in your home, that energy might have come from the animal waste of your local farm !).
They are currently running a pilot project.
The company is currently looking to raise $2 million, they are looking for high net worth investors that can invest a minimum of $200,000.
