Interview With Mr. Negative - Founder Of ??

Here at iyazam.com we are so happy to be finally interviewing Mr. Negative. Our guest Mr. Negative has been around for some time now and I am sure you will learn much from him in this interview.

iyazam: Welcome Mr. Negative we are so happy you were able to come.

MN: Thanks for the invite.

iyazam: Mr Negative you have a pretty impressive life story! Where should we start from?

MN: It all started back in 1950, when I graduated from High School. You see when I was in High School I had dreams of running my own business and becoming an entrepreneur. The day I graduated high school was actually the day I launched my first business.

iyazam: What was your first business?

MN: Well in those days babies were popping out from every where. They were all over the place. I figured why not get involved in the baby business!

iyazam: What happened?

MN: I started a small business selling all sorts of baby products. But it flopped. Why? Because you know how it is - people see you selling baby products, Then they start thinking all of these weird thoughts about you....

iyazam: Like what?

MN: You know. those "thoughts", its hard to explain. should I go around making a fool of myself? Hell no.

iyazam: Yeh but didn't some baby companies thrive in those years, like Gerber's? you could of also done the same!

MN: Now now iyazam. You were not around back then. It was different in those days.

iyazam: Um I disagree but lets move on...So what happened next?

MN: I figured why not get some college education! Thats exactly what I did. The next few years were spent getting my BA and a Masters in Business.

iyazam: Nice. Then what?

MN: Well then I had a new idea: The toys business.

iyazam: Toys? Interesting

MN: Yup. But that didn't get anywhere. Because lets face it - who would buy toys from an unknown guy like me?

iyazam: Well you need to start from somewhere......

MN: You must understand - in those days things were different.....

iyazam: If you say so....Then came...?

MN: Ah! Then came the big one! We are talking about 60's baby! Fast food restaurants were jumping up all over the place.... and I wanted a piece of the pie as well..

iyazam: Cool so you started your own restaurant?

MN: Well actually no. I had everything planned out, But you know how it is with these things. Also you need to remember that Vietnam was going on.

iyazam: What does that have to do with anything?

MN: iyazam you are young - listen to what I'm telling you.

iyazam: Go on... allow me to remind you that a number of fast food restaurants thrived in those years.

MN: Because they had all of the best minds in the business! duh! Who did we have on our team?

iyazam: Lets move on - we are running out of time here...so how were making a living back then?

MN: I was a slave for corporate America and then a farmer in a cubicle for a while..

iyazam: Nice. Anything else?

MN: Of course the 70's! After a few years of slave work I decided to enter the booming business in the 70's: Real Estate!

iyazam: Cool! I'm sure you made some nice money!

MN: Well.....We started and we actually did make a few sales.....But I was worried.

iyazam: About?

MN: You know how it is with these things....the market crashes and everyone is out of business.

iyazam: Yeh but it lasted almost 15 years before it popped!

MN: Next Question....

iyazam: It seems to me that you were always at the right place at the right time and every time you messed up!?

MN: Wrong. I made the right decision every time. Because I was smart. You see to start a business you need to have lots of money, which I did not have, why take the risk if you don't have the money? I was clever by not making the mistake of starting a business that could of failed even during the temptations of the 80's and 90's..

iyazam: But history is filled with examples of people who started with almost nothing and reached the highest levels of wealth..?

MN: Don't believe everything you hear...

iyazam: So what are you up to these days?

MN: In life you must learn that its all about about opportunities. When you see the right opportunity - jump on it, grab it, take good care of it and you will thrive. I know that moment for me is coming very soon....

iyazam: You really think so?

MN: Well I dunno. again its very easy to say "this is going to be a booming industry" - but at the end of the day nothing is for sure in

this world.

iyazam: That's really sad.

Mn: It sure is.....

Message from iyazam:

In life - the rule is that what you focus on is what you are going to get. If you plan on focusing on the negative - well I hate to break your heart - but thats what you are going to get. In this recession I am seeing companies and small businesses that are thriving and others that are vanishing. Why is that? I think alot of it relates to the fact of where your mind set is and what you are focusing on.

The three magic words that entrepreneurs use: " Making things happen", That's what its all about.

In your business ask your self every day this question: What are you doing to make things happen?
