How To Create a Buzz For Your Business

1) The first rule is that you must have a clear and attractive marketing message. In your message take out the "I" and focus on the "You" (aka - person who is viewing your message). People don't like to read marketing messages that are all self centered.

2) The next step is to get as many people as possible to view your message. Submit your message to social bookmarketing sites like Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit etc...Market via social networks Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube and get it running on twitter You never know who will like your message and pick it up.

3) Use the old Web'1.0 tools! - email, yahoo & Google mailing groups.

4) Submit press releases to press release sites: These sites are viewed by many popular bloggers and media members who are looking for last minute content. (I have had thing picked up - so it does work!)

5) Create a few marketing messages and test each one.

At the end of the day its all about how unique your idea is. Therefore if you see that you are not getting a response - refine your marketing message, your website and do what it takes to generate a nice buzz for your biz!
