In the consulting and mentoring business it sometimes can be hard to find new clients.
Another real issue here is the fact that everyday more and more people are launching another consulting business! The competition is very hard and many don’t make it.
The question is: how can you differentiate yourself from the rest and attract more clients?

What are our clients looking for?
Our clients are looking for one thing: Someone who can solve their problem with an effective solution. For your marketing message to be effective you first need to understand your target market and what is it they are struggling with. Once you have a deep understanding of what the problem is – you can then offer a solution.
Now here is where your ability to differentiate yourself comes in to play.
Remember: at the end of the day your potential clients are hungry for information.
Make efforts to come up with ways to market your information to your target market. You don’t have to give specifics but general information. Clients will hire you because of your know-how and not because of your good looks. Sharing the information you have will open up your clients’ eyes to your services.
