Google, they could give a damn

Most companies are very sensitive to the way their stock reacts. The stock represents what the stock holders think. Googles stock has been in freefall lately shedding $45 in just one day last Friday. Is anyone in Google seem worried? Probably not. The reason for this seems to be that Google thinks that it decides the how the internet marketing world will look. They are the kings and bosses, the stock holders be damned. The stock holders want Google to cut back costs and refrain from hiring new personnel and buying up new companies. So what does Google do? They announce an entire new round of hiring personnel and the acquisition of a company named Episodic among others. Episodic helps sites utilize live video streaming and taped video for advertising purposes. It basically is an online video platform for broadcasting both live and on-demand content to the web or any web-enabled device. This isn’t exactly the core business of Google but Google for the longest time is not just a search engine. It wants to rule all aspects of the web which would include video solutions for mobile and anything else. Of course Google introduced android and it’s become the best mobile phone in the world. Google would want someone who happens to be in some Amsterdam hotel somewhere to turn on his android and manage his video business through Episodic while clicking on visual search app Plink. Plink was another company that Google bought a few days ago.

It wants to rule the internet world. It’s doing a good job.
