Are Google Ads Losing Their Value? - What Do You Think?

This is something I've been thinking about for a while. If you are browsing the web for information you will most likely trust a Blog post then a Google ad. Many Google Ads are very misleading and people don't like to click on them. Sometimes Google ads remind me of people who post on Twitter these 'hyper posts' hoping to get thousands of visits...

I'm not saying that Adwords is dead, don't get me wrong. Of course its extremely effective in various niches. But in general I am getting the feeling that Google adwords is going down in value. Web users will rely on organic search results than Google Ads.

Gurus like Ken Evoy founder of Sitesell have been saying for a very long time to focus on content based websites and feed the search engines exactly what they are looking for. Because of the fact that people prefer to read information first. In the long run you have better chances of keeping someone as a loyal visitor who came to your site via the organic search results than from Google ads.
