Ding Dong! Getting on the first page of Google guarantees absolutely nothing!

How is that possible?

A few reasons:

1) The volume of the search is just not high enough. The keywords you have are just not in demand and no one is searching for them.

2) You are misleading the traffic: this is very common. Example: You type in Google " how to make soup", you see one of the results says: "how to make soup - the best soups you can make on your own.... yada yada...." You click on the link and the website isn't sharing any real information. People don't like to be misled.

3) Your websites graphics and flash is killing time and your traffic.

4) Your copy stinks

5) You are focusing on a market that simply does'nt shop.

Bottom line: Don't blame Google.
