Why Information Products Are Very POWERFUL in the DIY Industry

All over the world today there is a growing trend of people who are becoming DIY'ers. Whether it's fixing the home by themselves, Fixing the car, planting a garden, etc..More and more people are getting involved in the DIY industry because they are viewing this industry as way to save money instead of hiring someone to do the work.

In this specific project I learned something very interesting about the purchasing habits of DIY'ers and that is: DIY'ers are hard core purchasers of information products.

Another thing that I learned is that companies or individuals who market information products to the DIY market are capable of speaking to the DIY'er in his or her language, for example: "The Ultimate DIY Guide To Building a House" ...by simply adding certain keywords that the DIY'er can relate to.

DIY'ers are very dedicated to their passion and a good information product can spread like fire (in a good way) in the DIY market.

How is that?

Because most DIY'ers are involved in some niche forum related to their industry. There they will share with each other news, tips, advice and updates on the industry. Good products are also recommended on these forums as well.
