Why should someone do business with you?

Before launching a business we first need to ask ourselves this question. What is it about my business that other people would want to do business with me?

Now, this is one approach – to ask what is unique and special about the different aspects of your business and why should other people choose to do business with you.

Another approach is that of Jim Rohn. Jim asks the following question: “What is unique and special about YOU that people should do business with you?

Jim doesn’t necessarily focus on the business aspect but on the personal human aspect. What is it about you that people will want to do business with you?

Is it our good looks? Nice cars and clothes?

The answer to this question is one thing: our personal skills. Jim explains that once we complete our formal education in college or where ever – it is within each and everyone’s responsibility to develop new skills.

The more skills you add - the more valuable you will become and this will make you more valuable in the marketplace...and when you are more valuable - this will attract more people who will want to do business with you
