Here are a few good tips that I would like to share with you..if you are thinking about starting your own business. These are tips that I've heard from some great people and they have really helped me in getting started and running my own business.
1) Being active - vs - massive action: Many beginners get stuck in the being active stage. This means that they are always getting ready to get ready to take action, and when they take action....its very slow. Example: If they have a meeting set up lets say in a week, they won't do anything for a week until the meeting... Massive action is when you are dealing with multiple tasks in a very short period of time and getting things done. Once you start accomplishing tasks much faster - you will beging to see your business grow.
2) Do It Now! Watch Zig Ziglar:
3) Surround Yourself with Positive People: This is critical. If you are surrounded by negative people this will destroy your productivity. Negative people will do everything to convince you that your idea is not worth it.
How do you surround yourself with postive people? A great way is by attending networking events. Interacting with other like minded people and entrepreneurs will help you get into action. It's not always healthy trying to be the lonely man of faith in your business.
4) Work with clients who deserve it: It took me a very long time to understand that I should'nt take on every client. Some clients out there can "take you down", meaning: they will simply drive you up the wall. They will constantly have new demands other then what was agreed upon, they don't have a clear monitization and business model in place. These type of clients can be very fustrating. Only work with clients who have a clear monitization and business model in place.
